Getting around the caldera can be a bit tricky, but Call of Duty: War Zone Fans will soon have a much easier time thanks to the new express travel system. Launching alongside this week’s Ranked Weapons Reload Update, the system will allow players to travel under the map using mine carts. There will be 14 access points in total, which will be denoted on the map by a silver “Vault Door” icon. Seven of these access points will be Nebula 5 bunkers, while the other seven will be hatches. From there, players will be able to travel to the next access point.

While the fast travel system will add a new dimension to the game, players have to be strategic about using it! Players can travel to another destination, only to find enemies waiting in the wings. It will also be important to keep in mind if the circuit breakdown is approaching an area before you travel to it. The green light will let players know when it is safe to travel; According to Activision “anything else could mean a potential danger”. If the pointer is off and gas is flowing through the holes, this means that players will not be able to travel to that area of the map.
Overall, this seems like an exciting new addition to Call of Duty: War ZoneAnd it would be interesting to see what kind of effect it has. The Express Travel System is developed by Toys for Bob, the team behind it The Crash Bandicoot N. Trilogy.And Spyro Reinforced Triple. Fans will get a chance to test things out for themselves when the Ranked Weapons Reloaded Update is released on May 25th at 9AM PT!
